 In response to being asked if I hate Muslims... this is my truth! Awfully frightening things that can make you live in fear, irrational fear to some.  But to those whom experience its overwhelming fear, that has become a phobia because what you experienced was so traumatic to give you this fear of such immensity in the first place.. Now even seeing the most frightening things to you in the world On a daily basis..  When the things you have a phobia of, continue to do those same things that made it a phobia for you. Getting away with it, blaming you and your culture for it. Vilifying you further with no compromise or ability to recognise the inhumane acts they do which are now traumatising you.. The only way you can get over something that has caused you pain and hurt you is by processing it and coming to terms with it so you can move on whether you do this yourself or with the help of a professional. Firstly you have to accept yourself as you are for good and bad as you are who you are and you should never apologise for that or try to change for others just to be accepted and fit in and you should certainly never dislike parts of yourself. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses and you have to learn to love them all in the same way as you are unique and there are reasons why you are the way you are.
